Formation Seminar for Formators

With the theme “Living our Consecrated Life in the Reality of the World Today”, the session on the Formators’ Seminar started on September 15, 2010. This was attended by thirty-two (32) Formators, coming from 18 countries of the four continents over the world. Also invited to join were (4) four Auditors.

The first week opened with Invocation to the Holy Spirit in simple Liturgical Rites and Welcome Address by Mother General. This was followed by conferences given by Mother Myriam and the Council members. more....

Rev. Fr. Edouard TSIMBA, CICM, Rev. FR. Lucian DINCA, AA, and Rev. Fr. Lucas CHUFFART, AA , with SR. Madeleine RIOUX, SPC, alternately shared of their expertise on the topic being treated, the following three weeks.

The participants had leisure days in between sessions with pre-arranged trips to Lanciano-Monopello, Via-Appia and the Catacombs. They too attended a General Audience with the Pope and Canonization Rites at Saint Peter’s Square.

From Rome, they continued their pilgrimages to Pertuis, Chartres, Levesville, Lourdes and Paris before their return back home to continue with greater fervor and commitment the great mission entrusted upon them. This time, more enriched and renewed, they will hopefully bear in mind and heart constantly, the words of Mother Myriam:

“You are the cream of the community... On you, depend the future of the Congregation, by the manner with which you train the young, with the example of your own being and acting, grounded on deep prayer life, love of Jesus and our Congregation! “
