28 September
Death Anniversary of Mother Marie Anne de Tilly

From early morning till evening, prayerful festivity lingered within the Casa!

At 6:20 am, every one assembled at the Chapel for a short Liturgical Rite commemorating the Death Anniversary of Mother Anne de Tilly. With everyone holding each a colored lighted candle, the opening hymn to the Spirit, “Veni Sancte Spiritus” was sung, followed by a short reading on the life of our Co-foundress. All then moved in procession to the chapel , singing “Au fond des coeurs..” Mother Myriam holding a relicquary of soil taken from the tomb of Mere Anne led the group, with the four Sisters of Pertuis with big lighted candles, following next to her.

Upon arriving at the altar, the relic and candles were placed at indicated places, surrounding the decorated- framed picture of Mere Marie Anne de Tilly, which was set at the central lower portion of the altar. After this, each returned to their proper places for meditation and Mass.

Throughout the day, the candles remained burning, casting a gentle glow of serene prayer!
